I decided to go a bit farther with this piece using airbrushed ink for shading, highlights, and the tail light glow. I'm definitely happy with the way it came out! All the ink lines were done completely freehand using an Ultra Fine Sharpie- no rulers were used.

looks great man... the objects jumping out of the strong black box give it a certain 3-D look. The car looks awesome of course. I kind of feel that the car is lost in the objects though... maybe they could have been pulled up to the roof of the car. (cut the large arrow on the bottom)
have you ever used sakura micro pens? I just got some myself and they are awesome. they don't bleed at all, and they come in very small sizes (0.2 mm is their smallest). I know your whole theme is sharpie though haha... just thought I'd mention them.
Did this with them in a few hours for my science teacher :-P She wanted a cover done for a science exhibit she was running.
Man your drawing looks great! Well done, sir The Ultra Fine Sharpies I use are 0.3 mm- sometimes I use other brands for finer work, but it's the Sharpie thing- I'm sponsored by Sharpie so it's important to make em shine!
