After I finished the 35 Ford piece I couldn't help but think that this piece could use a little of the same touch. And after talking with my very humble friend and fellow artist Steve Stanford, I was sure I could make a dark color car out of the previously established black ink rather then making it a black car. So a little carfeul airbrushing later all the tones, shading and highlights were done- and what a difference! And by airbrushing I do mean with an a real airbrush- not digital. The piece itself started as an all sharpie piece done completely freehand using Ultra Fine Sharpies- no rulers were used.
