I like to practice a little basic perspective every now and then just to keep it fresh in my mind for when I'm not thinking about it, but still using it. All the black is done with Sharpies, all the shading is done with an ink based acrylic wash of black through an airbrush. It's just for practice, but its sooooooo much fun!

I think it's the shadows that the arrows are "casting" on the page that really sells it. It's a nice touch.
