Just got a customers helmet in the mail for some artwork to be done and thought I'd share the last Sharpie Helmet I did. This is done completely freehand using Sharpies, then I clear coat it when finished- these pics are prior to clear.
Thanks! It took about 5 hours to do the ink work, but it was quite challenging for the exact reason you said. It's what I call a 'constant curve'- it's never flat anywhere and you have to try to adapt your method to the shape. It's always great to do some extra challenging ones
You know those zebras-like paintjobs they use when testdriving concept cars. They should do it in style and hire you to design them ^^ Do you ship to Europe?
That would be a killer job to have, but they use vinyl wraps for those to keep it cheap which is no fun. I do actually ship to Europe- is there something you'd like?
not me directly, but I have a friend who just purchased a new motorcycle. A custom helmet with Kawasaki-Green highlights might make for a neat, personal gift
But awesome as always
looks great.
