The Sharpie Vs Acrylic Battle by PinstripeChris The Sharpie Vs Acrylic Battle by PinstripeChris
So I decided to go a step further with the last piece I posted by adding acrylic in various ways, in various areas- just for fun. A good friend of mine told me it looked like a Sharpie Vs Acrylic Battle- which is a fantastic way to describe what's happening here. Definitely adds an interesting vibe and motion to everything

Brilliant piece! I want to get back into more traditional art and this here is one of the works pushing me along! I love the black, red, and white scheme; as well as the sharp edges of the marker against the smudges and splats of the paints. Top notch!

With the contrast of flat and slightly 3-D effect of the acrylic splattering, it makes an intense piece. The Sharpie part alone must have taken ages to finish, and there is so much detail in it, you have to look at it more than once to see it all. and the repeating patterns have almost invisible differences, you have to really look to see anything. DD well deserved :D

Thank you very much! A very thorough review to :) To be honest, the ink work took about a day, and then the following evening I decided to add the acrylic once I felt it needed more. I tend to work pretty quick- I just made this piece last week :)
